What things we have to take with us for Sundarban touring and what things we don’t?

Things you need to take:-

The Original id of the person who booked the Houseboat must be shown to the boat owner. Also if necessary, the boat owner may ask to show the fellow members original id. So, you have to take your original ids. We suggest to take your personal clothes and towels. Other than this, you do not need to take anything. Yes, you may take your camera, but photography charges are applicable by the forest department.

Things you don’t:-

• Any external food items.

• Explosives and any burning things or anything which cause damage to the houseboat.

• Any unwanted things which pollutes the river. Polluting the river is chargable.

• Any sharp or pointed objects such as knifes.


You have to listen to all the important things said by the Boat Owner, as it will be necessary while going to a jungle. If you are travelling with children, then you must protect your child.

The one day touring will start at 8 a.m. in the morning at the day of your booking from Godkhali. From there we will take you to the internal parts of the Sundarban Jungle. Welcome drink will be served with the breakfast at the boat. Then we go to the Delta Region where you can see all the animals roaming in the jungle. We will take you to two watch towers in one day touring package, there you can see many animals roaming in jungle. Many beautiful birds can be seen and if that is you day then you can get the glimpse of the Great Royal Bengal Tiger. Then after lunch, we will take you to some watch towers, where you can see the internal parts of the jungle. Then after 4 p.m. our return journey will start which will end at our starting point, Godkhali.

2 days- 1 night package description:-

2 days- 1 night package is most popular.

Day 1- At day 1, we will pick you from our picking and drop off location Godkhali at 9 a.m. Then after welcome drink and breakfast, we will start our journey. First we go to some tourist attraction places like Bird Jungle (where you can see many beautiful and attaractive birds), and many beautiful and jaw droping view After lunch, we will go to see some small islands and meet some local people and visit some local markets. From there we will buy food stuffs (according to your choice - Veg/non-veg) for our dinner. Then we will stop to a place where you can see the mesmerizing view of sunset. Then we return to Pakhiralaya for our night stay. After that we will serve you some evening snacks. Then at 10 p.m. we will serve food at the boat and you can stay at night in the boat.

Day 2- On day 2, after morning tea and breakfast, we will start our journey to the internal parts of the Sundarban. There you can see many animals like crocodiles, wild Boars, Deers, Monitor Lizards and many more animals, roaming in the jungle. If that is your day, then you can get the glimpse of the Great Royal Bengal Tiger. Then after lunch, we will take you to see some watch towers, which are solely made to see the beauty of the Jungle. We also take you to Tiger reserve where a tiger is kept for public view. The walk in tiger reserve will give the most exciting feeling. Then we will take you to Panchmukhni River Junction. Then we start your return journey to our drop off location, Godkhali.

3 days- 2 night package description:-
